Wheat—fhore is a fair demand for samples of prime milling, tho kinds moat inquired for being Tvs can and white velvet, and for such prices remain at last week's quotations- viz., 484 8 Yd to 4- 3d : other descriptions. 4s to 4s Id. Fowl tied is iv fair demand at 2s bd to S- 3d, a.' cording- I<> qudiCy Oats.- There i- a den a>id for Red samples of good colour, a d bhort oars are preferred, the prico for which is from 1- Od to la 10.1 P £ i u ,e milling would command Is io£d ; discoloured samplus are very hard to place. Grass feed. — Ihero is very little demand, but machine-dressed samples of ryegraas would fe*ch 4a pa- bnahol, and cockdfoot from 4d to 4Jd pnr lb Babbitskins. — Winter skins are now beginning to arrive, and command from 13d to 14d per lb ; summer skini, lOd to Is. Hides are in vory fair demand at 4d to 4^ per lb for heavy » el-trimmed hides, and Sd to 3^d per lb for lisrht and inferior. Tallow continues in active demand ixt 30a to 3<?» per cwt lor well-rendered lots, and 22s to 243 for rough fat.
