Peninsula Road Board.

The Peninsula Road Board hold its regular monthly meeting on Saturday. Present— Messrs J. Tinnock (chairman), J. Matheson, A. Stewart, W. 1 Braid, 'R. Braid, W. Stewart, A. Blatch,,T. Begg, ,T. White, ; aiid T. Robertson. PtCORRESPONDENOE. . s A letter was received from Mr Strode, on behalf of Messrs Spedding, Gregg, and Bastings, complaining that a portion of the Beach road, East Harbour, ran through their property,- which considerably reduced the area, and wishing to know if there was any understanding between Mr Reynolds and the Board regarding the same.— Consideration was deferred. Mr Beattie complained that the Board had formed a road on his property without his sanction.— Messrs J. Matheson and J. linnook were appointed to inquire into the matter, with power to act. . t Mr R. Inglis wrote threatening to hold the Board responsible for diverting the water from the road into his property.— Not received. A letter .was read from Mr, Walham offering .to lease the .Powder-magazine,' Anderson's Bay, for, one year for £85. ' i ' Mr White moved, and Mr W.
