WASTE LANDS BOARD.
Trie members of the' Waste Lands Board, Stet 6b th 6 22nd.- There were present : — Messrs '•(Jlark 1 (ifl the chair), Thomson, M.H.R. ; Green, M.H.K. ; andißastings, M.H.E. The minutes of the -last meeting were read land confirmed, 1 and the Clerk read a telegram which had been received from J. P. Mailland, Esq. "".(Chief, Commissioner of Waste Lands), ' Btating that his son was dying from injuries ' received by the coach accident at the Horse ' Range. Mr Thomson then moved the following re solution — "The Clerk having produced a telegram from Mr Maitland to the effect that his son was dying from injuries received by coach accident, ana having heard that his son hits* since died, the Board takes this opportunity of expressing its deep sympathy with Mr Maitland in the heavy affliction he has bus (tamed, and do now adjourn." The, motion was seconded by Mr Gbeen, and carried unanimously.
