COURSING.
A meeting was held at Milton in the White Horse Hotel on Friday night, for the pun pose of forming a coursing club. Mr F. Bastings was in the chair, and there was a goodly number of loual sportsmen present. It was agreed that the name of the society should be the Bruce Conrsing Clnb, and that the members' entrance fee should be one guinea per annum. Messrs Bastings and J. M'Donald were erected President and VicePresident. The Club, which has already a membership of 15, has been formed at this seaeon of the year principally for the purpose q of protecting the hares, as it is believed that * large number of these animals at c destroyed oat of the coursing season. A dinner is to take plsce on Wednesday evening, in the White Hone Hotel, to celebrate the inauguration of the Club.
