The usual fortnightly meeting of the; Minerva Lodge No. 88, 1.0. G.T., was; held in the school-room on Wednesday,; August Ist, 1877. Bro. J. Whitehead, W.0.T., presiding. , , , ' • . After the usual routine of business had been gone through, one candidate was' initiated. The W.S., W.F.S., and W.T." reports were passed, showing the Lodge* to be in a very satisfactory position.' The Deputy G.W.C.T., Bro. D. O.| Gardiner, assisted by Bros. M. Wade, andj Leeder, sen. , installed the following Officers] for the quarter ending November Ist,' 1877 :— W.C.T. Bro. H. Armitage, W.Y.
