SOUTH DUNEDIN COUNCIL.
A special meeting of the South Dunedin Council was held on the 26th. Present : • The Mayor, Mr 3ST. Moloney (in the chair), Mesßia Hodges, Naumann, Sutcliffe, Thomson, and M'lntyre. The Council resolved itself into Committee and the doors of the Council Chamber were accordingly locked. On the motion of Mr Naumann. seconded by Mr Hodges, it was resolved— " That 2 per cent, on £3000 be set aside for the purpose of establishing a sinking fund to redeem debentures. On the motion of Mr Naumann, seconded by Mr Sutcliffe, it was resolved—" That (£1500) debentures be now offered for sale, as previously agreed to." • . * The Council rose at 10.30 p.m.
