CRIMINAL CALENDAR.
The following is tho Calendar of prisoners committed for trial at the Criminal Sessions of the Supreme Court, Dunedin, before His Honour Mr Justice Chapman, commencing on Monday, the 4th January, 1875, together with the offences with which they are charged :—: — Henry Pearoe, stealing money, &c, at Dunedin. James M'Cormack, stealing a cash-box containing money at Dunedin. Charles Fowler, stealing from a dwelling at Lawrence. Cornelius Cavey, stealing a watch at Dunedin. Thomas Green, forging a cheque for money at Oamaru. James Fraaer, do do d». John Levi Goldberg, stealing from the person at Cromwell. Samuel O'Neill alias Gibson, larceny as a bailee at Strath Taieri. Same, obtaining money under false pretences at Strath Taieri. Ellen Power alias Burke, stealing from the person at Dunedin. Jane Ann Henderson, do do Isabella Lyle, do do Mary Morcombe, attempting to commit suicide at Dunedin. George Jones (on bail), arson at Tokomairiro. There are altogether 13 committed for trial.
