Sin — I observe in your issuo of this morning a lotler from Rev. Dr. Ncvill, complaining of some remarks made by me respecting the clergy of the Church of England. In reply, T hAve only to say that as convener of the Committee on the State of .Religion, X addressed forms of petition ou Sabbath observance to all the Protestant Ministers in the Province* accompanied with a letter explaining the objects contemplated, and requesting their co-operation in securing the end sought to be attained.
