Also, the Society's Silver Medal for Adjusting Blocks for Machines. The duty performed by all C. S. and Co's Engines on this occasion, considerably exceeded that of any others. C. S. and Co. refer with pleasure to the fact that the duty of their " Commercial," or Single Valve Engine, at Chester, so long ago as 1858, was sot equalled by any " ordinary "^Engine at Bury.
