Sept. 12, 1867. Mr C. W. Lobenzen, Produce Salesman, Jetty street, reports :—: —

The market in general is very quiet ; oats are only saleable at a reduced price to the storekeepers and consumers, when in want, say from 2s 4d to 2s 5d ; seed oats, long and short Tartarian, are worth 2s 9d per bushel. The low price of oata (Is 6d) in Canterbury prevents any orders for Bhipment from here. Wheat in nrst-cl&ss samples is saleable at 4s Id to 4s 2d; inferior, not adapted for miUing,-2s9dper bushel. About 800 bags maize from Sydney are offered at 3s 5d per busheL • Oaten hay at £5, in good demand. No orders for potatoes at present on hand for shipment. The following are tfco^lfttaVquotationa s—
