GOLD FIELDS ELECTION.
The polling for the election for a member to represent the gold fields in the General Assembly, took place on Monday. Three candidates were nominated last week, Messrs Campbell, Haughton, and Bradshaw. Ihe returns received to the present time are as follows : —
