TANGI AT WAITARA TO-DAY,

A Parliamentary party loft Thorndon Diy special train iit 10.25 last night to attend the tangi for the late Sir Maui JPomare, at Waitara to-day. The party Consists of the Right Hon. J. G. Coates, nvho is accompanied by Mrs. Coates, Messrs H. Holland. 11. G. Dickie, D. Jones, J. Linklater, R. W. Hawke, W. Nash, C. A. Wilkinson, K. S. Williams, F. White, Mr. P. Fraser, accompanied by Mrs. Fraser. Mr. J. MciCombs, accompanied by Mrs. MeConibs and (daughter, and Mr. A. Hamilton, a'ecouijpanied by Mrs. Hamilton. The Government will bo officially represented by Sir Apirana Ngata, Minister of Native Affairs, and the Hon. ,s. G. Smith, Minister of Labour. The reason for Mr. Smith's selection is that Waitaiai is included in his electorate. The return journey will be made on Saturday, tho special train arriving at Thorndon at 10.19 p.m. j
