DANNEVLRKE MEETING. .The annual meeting of the Dannevirke Hunt Club passed off quietly yesterday, in cold, threatening weather. Except for one or two light showers the rain held off. Form at the spring meeting of the Dannevirko Racing Club the previous day worked out well, and prices were short. The track was soft again. The attendance was moderate and the totalisator business a good deal less than for the corresponding meeting last year. The Hunt Cup won comfortably hv the Palmers ton Northowned and Marton-trained Postman, and the Foxton-owned and trained Maui wqn the open flat race.
