In the primary schools tournament at the Hutt, Horowhenua had a hard proposition in the match against Taranaki, but they faced it gamely. It would have taken u much heavier team than Horowhenua to have beaten Taranaki, whose forwards were always following up and whose backs swept downfteld at a great pace. The final
score was 34 to nil. The scores for Taranaki were Robinson (2), Tito (4), Richards (2). Aitken converted 2, Richards 2, and E'agar 1. ,
