Band of Hope

The first neeting of the Band of Hope for. the* winteT took place in the Town Hall lact night, when all the enthusiasm of previous years was shown in the big attendance and the heartineßS with which every item was greeted. Mr Fisher occupied the chair. The membership now totals 174, of which 12 joined last night. Miss M. Blown was elected secretary and Miss lily Fisher treasurer. A capital programme was given the performers being Mesdames Oupples and Scott and Esther Evans, Gladys Cleverly, Flora Macdonald, and Errol puppies, Band [of "flope members. Prizes are to be awarded to those assisting in the concerts.
