RIVERLEA'S SUCCESS ' COASTAL REPS. WIN In a very even semi-final played at Eltham on Saturday, Riverlea, the successful coastal team, defeated Hawera T.H.S.O.G. Red (Southern) by 17-16, after a good game. Riverlea have now earned the right to contest the Taranaki senior championship final and basketballers along the coast wish the team every success. Playing its first game together, the Coastal Basketball Pep, team defeated'the visiting Rotbrua Maori Catholic team by 22 points to 17 at New Plymouth during the week-end. The heal team started well but a lapse gave the visitors a half-time lead of S-7. The second half however, revealed better combination among the coastal players who played well to win , against such good opposition.
