POWER BOARD
MONTHLY MEETING LTTTLE~BUSINESS The ordinary monthly meeting' of the Opunnke Electric Power Board was held in the Board's rooms on Friday, the Chairman, Mr. J. S. Hickey presiding. Present: Messrs. W. C. Green, J S. Tosland, R. Cassie, A. E, Collins, the Electrical Engineer, Mr. E. G. Snell and the Secretary, Mr. P. 11. Brown. Apologies for absence were received from Messrs. W. A. Skeat, M.P., and S. Hutehen. The secretary's review of the Board's fire insurance which showed that its property was seriously underinsured, together with' recommended cover, was approved. Accounts totalling £4,666-18-4 were passed for payment. Only a small amount of routine business was witn a^ er which the meeting closed early, hoard members visiting the new house at present in the course nf erection. Members expressed satisfaction with the progress made, the house being almost ready ."or occupation.
