RAHOTU SOCIAL GIFT EVENING A gift evening was lield in the Hall at Rahotu in honour of Mrs. C. Coltart (nee Miss Hazel Peppered). Sprays made hy Mrs. E. Antill were presented to the guest and her mother,, Mrs. B. Pepperell. Mrs. W. Butler presented . the gifts on behalf of those present. Card prizes were won by Mr. and Mrs. A. Haskell, Mrs. B. Peppered and Mr. *P. Manser 1, Mr. and Mrs. L. Cederstrom, Mesdames J. Dalton and W. Butler 2. Mr. D. Wells was M.C. for a wed patronised dance and euchre held at the Rahotu, had by the Young People’s Club. An extra was played by Mr. E. Austin. Monte uirlo dances were won by Miss I. Hopkins and partner and Mr. D. Gordon and Miss Howes. Euchre prizes went to Mesdames W. Butler and D. Harvey, Messrs. L. Biding and J. Macfie.
