It is too much to hope perhaps that England with, its population of 47 millions will in face of tie industrialisation of the. world regain its industrial supremacy of 40 years ago, but it can hope for • the co-operation of all parts ,6f;' the British Empire in formulating a policy of economic sufficiency, for all by fostering in the Empire those industries best suited to each country by reason of its situation and experience. I am sure that the full realisation of this will be in the minds of our kinsmen in New Zealand. That way lies survival.
