* STATE HOUSES BUILT FIGURES FOE ALL AREAS At the end of June ex-service-men trainees from the Rehabilitation Board's trade training centres comprised 43 per cent, of the artisan force employed on State house building in New Zealand, says a statement from the Rehabilitation Board. At that date trainees had completed the constructional work and much of the finishing work on 712 houses and were engaged .in the building of another 953. The -total number of State houses under construction at the end of June was 3,574 on which 4,560 artisans and labourers were engaged. Areas where trainees have completed constructional work on houpes are: Kaikohe 11, Auckland 138, Rotorua 57, Gisborne 13, Napier 84, Hastings 4, Hamilton 6. New Plymouth 6, Wanganui 12, Palmerston North 6, Wellington-Hutt Valley 152, Nelson 6, Westport 13, Greymouth 2. Christchurch 90, Timaru 12, Dunedin 94, Invercargill 6.
