# SEPTEMBER MEETING Miss 30. Sinclair presided over a small attendance at the September meeting of the Qpunake Women’s Institute one new membelr was welcomed.
It was reported that a donation had been sent, to the Makogai Leper Fund and also that final arrangements had been made for packing soldiers Christmas parcels. An appeal was made for clothing for the Lady Galway Guild.
An interesting demonstration on Home Nursing was given by Miss Sinclair, and the Dominion President’s letter from Home and Country was >read. The results of competitions were as follows: Apron from 1 yd. material, Mrs. P. Norris, Ist Mrs J. Bya*rs 2nd. Travelling shilling, Mrs. Shields. Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Sisley, Mathis and Hickman. *
