Bus Service Extension. — To provide for children resident in the Pihama area and desirous oi attending 1 secondary school classes at Opunake, it is likely that an additional free bus service will be instituted in that district within the near future. At the present time, these children make use of one of the commercial services, but their arrival at school is delayed until some time after the normal commencement of classes, thereby causing some disorganisation. The proposed new service would provide for children on the Main South Road as far as Pihama and would run inland for a mile up the Watino and Patiki roads.
