For 350 years Kristdala Parish in the Swedish province of Ostergotland, has received its pastor from the same family. The first minister was Dureseus Meurling, and his descendant, Dr. Erik Meurling, todays holds the same office. Two memorial plaques in honour of the family were unveiled in, Kristdala churchyard.
