This competition has aroused keen interest fore the final round is reached there is promise of some great battles. Senior Championship. The matches for the senior championship have entered into the semi-final stage, the contestants being Cundy v. Fraser and Marcroft v. Edmonds. The final games should be productive of great golf. LADIES' GOLF. HANDICAP CHAMPIONSHIP. Four matches were played on Wednesday in connection with the handicap championship. Mrs. Morris defeated Mrs. Ewart 1 up, Mrs Hammond defeated Miss Jenkin 5 up and 3, Miss Lewis defeated Mrs. 1 up, Miss Feaver defeated Miss Mcßeynolds. The first and second round of this competition must be played before the 31st August. Senior Championship. Mrs. Ewart defeated Mrs. Oliver, Miss Trotter defeated .Mrs. Morris. ._
