Healing Mission.
CUKES CLAIMED
The Hick-son healing mission was crowded at All Saiuts' Church Palmerston North' on Wednesday, a procession of 500 invalids appearing before Mr Hickson. After weeks of preparation for tht great day and buoyed up with fhe prospect of re • turning 10 their homes in good health, the invalids awaited the ceremony of tha laying on of hands with eager expectation. As a result of Mrliickson's ministrations many cures are claimed and others are reported to have benefitted. The following cures come from authoritative sources:-
A blind man, who was leaving the church, exclaimed: "Look! I can see. "
A girl from Rongotea, suffering from infantile paralysis, left the church as she entered, actipple, but now is reported to be cured and has cast aside the use of splints. In the case of a Masterton deaf and dumb girl speech is now restored. <
We have not been able to ascertain how local people who have attended the. Mission have benefitted, but on their return we shall endeavour to learn their impressions of the Mission.
The Rsv Solomon is at present in Palmerston North.
