Devonport’s Dramatic Co.

TO-MORROW NIGHT. At the Town Hall, to-morrow night, the above company will present the famous drama, “The Web of Fate.” This drama is far superior to anything yet shown in Opunake. The play, being wri f, ‘.n by.,Dudley Grant, is a guarantee far a first-class production. The scenery has been specially painted by Kenneth Clifton, the famous scenic artist, including the great moonlight scene, the graveyard under snow, which is a most magnificent piece of scenic art. Lovers of comedy should not miss seeing and hearing Mr Geo. Vance, the English comedian, in the latest songs, and Miss Ivy May, who introduces ‘‘How would you like to spoon with me,” a song which causes roars of laughter. Mr Alf. Coffey, an Irish servant, should be seen by all. The box plan for reserved seats is now on view at Duncan’s, where seats may be reserved for 8s 6d. Admission to hall will be : Front seats Bs, back 2s; children, Is and 6d.
