Death of Mr Harry Middleton.

It, is with deep regret that we have to record the death of Mr A. H. (Harry) Middleton, which sad event happened at Blenheim on Wednesday last, at the residence of his brother (Mr W. W. Middleton). The deceased had been unwell for the past four months, pneumonia eventually carrying him off. The late Mr Middleton oame to Opunake 25 years ago, and resided iu the town until about four years back, when he went to Blenheim. He was a man who was liked by everyone with whom he came in contact, and his cheery disposition and good heartedness gained for him those tributes which characterise the men of true British instincts. In the early days of the town he assisted at various local functions, where his presence was always welcomed. His many friends will be sorry to hear of hit? end at the comparatively early age of 48 years, and we feel sure will join with us in extending sympathy to his brothers in their bereavement.
