MONTHLY STOCK SALE

The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. report as follows on the stock sale held on Thursday We had a good entry of cattle and a small entry of sheep. Competition was good throughout and we report a total clearance. Prices realised were:

Ewes with lambs, 32s (id, ewes counted; fat cows, £6 lbs to £8 £s; fonvard cows, £4 10s to £5; billable cow's, £5 to £6; good store cows, £3 Iss to £3 17s 6d; boner cows, £2 11s to £2 18s ; dairy cows, £4 15s to £7 ss; heifers to calve, £5 to £7 2s 6d; Jersey yearling heifers, £•' 7s 6d to £5 2s; yearling Shorthorn steers, to £4; yearling Jersey bulls, £5 to £7; aged dairy bulls, £7 7s 6d to £8 10s; boner bulls, £4 to £6 ss; 3-year fonvard steers, £6 11s Gd to £7.
