On and after Monday, 30th. September, mails will close at the Opotiki Post Office as under:— Auckland, Frankton Jne., Waikato, Taranaki, Hawke’s Bay, Main Trunk and South Island Offices. Gar and Train Mondays to Fridays 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday 10 am. and Noon. (10 a.m. despatch letters only.) Waiotahi, Kutarere, Waimana, Tancatua, Whakatane, Te Puke, Tauranga, Car and Train Mondays to Fridays 5 p.m. Sat. Noon. Rotorua and District (Letters only). Gar Daily, 10 a.m. Toatoa, Car Mondays to Fridays 5 p.m. Saturday Noon. Waihau Bay and Private Bags, Car Mondays and Fridays 11.30 a.m. Gape Runaway, car Mondays 11.30 a.m. Lower Waiawa, Car. Mon., Wed. and Fri., 2 p.m. Torere, Houpoto, Omaio, Te Kaha and Private Bags, Car Mon. to Fri. 2 p.m. Sat. Noon. Gisborne, Matawai and Districts, Mondays to Fridays, 5 p.m., Sat. Noon. Wairata, Car 'l'ues. and Fri., 6 p.m. Oponae, Gar Fridays, 5 p.m. ArP. STUART, Postmaster.
