THE KING AND QUEEN INSPECTION OF DAMAGE CROWD SENT TO COVER DUEL OVER CHANNEL (News by Cable.) LONDON, Sept. 27. •Arriving- during a raid this moiming, Their Majesties' visited a northwest London suburb which had been damaged by bombs. While Their Majesties were looking at a crater in the middle of a green surrounded by damaged houses, anti-aircraft shells began to burst above. A croAvd of several hundred Avhich had assembled to welcome Their Majesties Avas asked by the police to take cover. The King and Queen, with obvious reluctance, entered a car and Avere driven off to continue visits to other parts of London. An artillery duel was fought across the Straits of Dover Avhen British long-range guns replied to a German bombardment of Dover this afternoon.

In a Royal Air Force raid to-day Le Havre Avas bombed for 2i hours and the docks reduced to a mass of fires and Avrcckage.
