ENDING FIGHTING
FRENCH WITHDRAWAL APPROVAL IN ROME LONDON, Sept. 25. It was officially announced in Hanoi to-day that the French withdrew from Langson while the Japanese were making an encircling movement with superior numbers. The French Foreign Ministry at Vicliy announced that the Japanese commander had negotiated a termina-
tion of the Japanese aggression at Dongdang, thus ending tho border fighting. Tho Rome correspondent of the Tokio paper Yomiuri said to-day that the Japanese Ambassador to Italy and the Italian Foreign Minister, Count Cvano, discussed the recent international conditions, during which conversations Count Ciano is reported to have supported the Japanese entry into Indo-China.
