REPAIRING THE GARDEN HOSE.
If a hose leaks, cut out the injured part and make a splice as follows:-* Procure a short piece of pipe that will fit si) ugly in the hole of the hose, and heat it enough to melt the rubber* Then push it into the hose so that the joint will be at the centre of the pipe, and cool it in water. The hot pipe vulcanises the hose and pipe together. making a permanent and neat repair.]
