OLD CLOTHES FOR NEW.
If you are lucky enough to possess a faithful old friend of a skirt vtaicn has done duty-in-several giuses without losing its shape, try turning .it inside out and see if, you don't give it a new lease of life. The same treatment, too, can be given to, an old knitted sports coat which may be perfectly good and yet look faded and shabby. If you don't want to go to the trouble of dying it just turn the jersey inside out and .machine up the seams on what has been the right side. If the sleeves and armholes are stitclied, do the same with them, of course if they are woven there is no alteration needed. Sew the buttons and pockets in the fame place on the reverse side and you will find that you possess virtually, a new coat. ■ x :. .;
