LETTER OF APPRECIATION.

Writing to a business man in Paeroa, a prominent man in London speaks as follows :— " Adverting to the war again, we should like to remind you how much we, as Englishmen, appreciate t»he patriotic action of the New Zealanders in coming to the aid of the Old Country The way the colonies have rallied to us has made, and is continuing to make, a deep impression on all Englishmen, and, in fact, we believe", on all outsiders as well, as showing the solidity of the Empire."
