A DAM BURSTS
[By Electric Telegraph.] Paris, December 3. . The floods are menacing the villages near St. Eitenne. Seven thousand are workless at Nantes. Hundreds of families are homeless. The railways are submerged around Orleans. The bursting of a dam at Montjean submerged the neighbourhood to a depth of 6ft. The Chamber ot Deputies have voted £6000 sterling for relief.
