PAEROA V. KARANGAHAKE
A match between Paeroa and Karangahake was played on the Karanga-
hake green on Saturday afternoon. Notwithstanding the heavy rain that fell in the morning, the green was in good playing order, and the game was a most enjoyable one. Karangahake proved a
long way superior on the day, and won by a majority of 58 points. The visitors were welcomed by Mr Deane (president of the Karangahake Club) and were entertained at afternoon tea by the ladies. At the conclusion of the afternoon the usual complimentary speeches were made, and cheers given for the visitors, the local players, and the ladies.
