, There will bo no Cup matches in Paeroa to-morrow afternoon.
At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Paeroa Rugby Union on Wednesday evening, a spectator at last Saturday's match was reported for using bad language on the football ground. The committee decided to disqualify the offending spectator during the pleasure of the Union.
East and Suburbs meet at Paeroa
on Saturday, the 23rd inst. The matches in Auckland to-mor-row will be Ponsohby v. City, Newton v. North Shore, Graf ton v. Parnell.
The secretary of the Paeroa Union has received donations from the following Vice-Presidents, in addition to those already acknowledged:— Messrs J. Roache, W. Nicholls, F. Mueller, L. Hansen, G. Crosby, W. Cullen, P. Delany, and the Very Eev. Dean Hackett.
The football season "at the Thames opens to-morrow. matches at Waihi were postponed last Saturday out of respect for the victims of the fatal accident in the Waibi Mine.
Mr 8. McOulibugh, secretary of the East Club, desires to acknowledge donations from Mr Brenan (President), and Messrs Shields, Schellack, and H. Moore (Vice-Presidents).
