Aii interesting shooting competition will take place on the local range on Saturday next between toams picked from the Waikino Rifle Club an«i the No. 1. O.H.V. The conditions are tea men aside ; ranges 500 and 6QQ yds; ten shots and oiie sigbter" at each range. It is expected tho match will bo keo'nl}' contested, as the toams are equally matched. The local teanj, will be picked from the following ;~ Lio'itenant Hubtard.- Color-Sergeant Andrews, Sergeants. Kenny- and Shaw," Covpprals, Rubbard..'.and SouAtfish. Privates Donnerlby, Silcbck, Bbaclie,' "Thomson, Moore (2)j*ogdeir. • - Two of Paeroa's -old reps will be sliooting against their old 'corps on Saturday. Gullen, our popular dyapevj is presenting" a gent's ' hitntisome - silk umbrella to the highest scorer on the local side on Saturday.
