Invited To Centennial Games

An invitation for the brilliant 15-year-old New Zealand junior champion. John Jarvis, to compete at the Canterbury Centennial Games was approved by the Otago Swimming Centre at its meeting last night. It was decided to hold a carnival on January 18 prior to the departure of the Otago teams for the New Zealand junior championships at Ashburton and the senior national championships at Timaru.
