BOWLING TEAM
Tour Of Britain And Continent
PA WELLINGTON, Dec. 13. The New Zealand bowling team which will tour Britain next year will comprise 30 men and 15 women. It will leave Wellington by the Monowai on April 6 and connect with the Strathmore at Sydney. The team will play matches in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, including test matches against each country. One interesting match wili be that held at Windsor Castle on May 27 against the Royal Household Bowling Club. The New Zealand team will probably go on to play matches on the Continent. The team has been selected not so much on playing ability but more on outstanding services to the game. The team will leave England on the return trip to New Zealand on October 5.
