ANNUAL PARTY
Dunedin Scottish Society The Scottish Society’s annual party for members' children was held on Saturday evening In the Crawford Lounge. There was a large gathering and the children enjoyed a banquet provided by tne •Ladies’ Committee. Mr J. T. Ramsay was in charge of the programme which followed, and the following children contributed items: Philip Park, Alisa Ramage, Andrew Barr. Yvonne Hall, Margaret Walker, • Elaine Walker, Maureen Darling, Adrian Cochrane, Joan Murdoch, Deidre Glover, Ima Thomas, Marie McKenzie. Ivan Hanna and Isla Hall. A Fancy‘Dress Competition was held and the winners were:—Best Girl: Elaine McKee (Xmas tree). Best boy: Ivan Hanna (horse). Most humorous girl" Joan Sidon and Ima Thomas (pair of darkies). Most humorous boy: Howie Brown (last drop). Several visitors and new-comers to the country were welcomed by the president. Mr J. L. Thomson. " Parents and friends concluded the evening with a dance. Mr G. Macßae was the MC. .......
