England's Better Display PA WELLINGTON. Dec. 11. England had the better of the day’s play in the second croquet test against New Zealand at Riddiford Park, Lower Hutt, today. E. L. Ward-Petley and J. Solomon beat C. Bryan' and C. Watkins 26—25, 26—9; D. J. Hamilton-Mil-ler and H. O. Hicke led A. G. F. Ross and A. Heenan 26—19 when play was stopped. A crowd of about 400 witnessed the matches.
