SECOND CAMP
University Medical Company The Otago University Medical Company will go into camp on February 15 for the second time since the end of the war. This time the camp will be held at Sutton, and about 150 medical and dental students will be under training for a fortnight. The students will be given training in medical and dental field work under the direction of the commanding officer of the company. Lieu-tenant-colonel A. Borrie. A minor amount of fieldcraft and general military training will also be given. This is the first time that a military unit has gone into camp as a unit since the territorial forces were reconstituted after the end of the war. It is the first time Sutton camp has been used by a military force since the middle war years. The medical company will be self-supporting as far as is possible.
