WAITAKI FREEZING COMPANY

Sir,—Like all other shareholders, I received a circular signed by Mr D. Williams, in which he points out that he is seeking to put in two new directors and oust Messrs A. McCulloch and A. McMillan, and he states as his reason that they do not have their stock drafted by the works' drafters and so cannot be of assistance to them in their districts. I cannot see how it makes much difference as long as they send their stock to the local works. If, as he says, Messrs McCulloch and McMillan cannot help the drafters, how much less can Mr Williams, living in Oamaru. be of assistance? It could be argued that he himself ought to resign and let one of his new younger men go on in his place instead of trying to push out good men who have proved their worth, as Mr A. McMillan has in other public bodies.—l am, etc., Shareholder.
