Waitaki Second Eleven Beaten The annual cricket match between the Otago Boys’ High School and Waitaki Boys’ High School second elevens finished on a particularly exciting note at Littlebourne yesterday. With only three minutes to go, Otago in its second innings overhauled Waitaki’s score and won with three wickets in hand. The main scorer for Waitaki in the second innings was Sinclair, who made some neat cover drives. Scores:— WAITAKI First Innings, 163. Second Innings.—Lindsay 14. Wright 9, Morris 33, Miles 11,' Airey 10, .Mirfin 8, Jones 0, Trevelyn 11, Sutton 0, McMillan 14. Taylor 0 not out; extras 8. Total, 118.
