Welfare Of Patients And Prisoners
The problem of finding suitable premises in the city to display and sell work done by patients of the Seacliff Hospital was discussed at the monthly meeting of the Patients and Prisoners’ Aid Society yesterday. Premises that had been used in previous years were now not available and ths society hoped that some alternative building could be found before the end of the month. The agent. Mr A. Steven, reported on the work of the society during the month at the hospitals and prisons. He stated that 16 patients were admitted to the James Powell Convalescent Home at Warrington during the month. Present at the meeting were Messrs C J Wood (chairman), D. Tannock, T. Somerville. H. Renfree. Mesdames D. Tannock and C. O. Mathias, Misses D. Brown and D. Stewart.
