OTHER OUTBREAKS
Machines from the Central and South Dunedin stations answered a call to a gorse fire at Leckhampton Court at 2.52 p.m. yesterday. A South Dunedin machine attended a grass fire in the same area at 4.44 p.m. At 4.46 p.m. a fire! near the Shell Oil Company’s railway siding was extinguished by a Central machine. Fire v/hich broke out in a motor car in Princes street, Musselburgh, was attended by a South Dunedin unit at 6.43 p.m. and there was very little damage. The fire was caused when a car collided with a motor cycle.
