A House Can Be Bought For £25
A tender of £25 15s was accepted by the Dunedin City Council at its meeting on Monday night for the removal of this dwelling at 20 Brook street, on the banks of the Leith near the north end of Castle street. Outhouses, walls and fences were included in the tender. Although a brick wall of the house was blown down by wind recently, the building may yet serve a useful purpose. At the price, it would make a cheap seaside bach.
