ANTI-COMMUNIST BILL
Labour To Persist With Amendments CHALLENGE TO GOVERNMENT N ZP A—Copyright Rec. 11 p.m. CANBERRA, Sept. 26. The Australian Labour Party today decided to persist with its amendments to the Communist Party Dissolution Bill, thus challenging the Government to force an election on the Communist issue. The decision is binding on the Federal Parliamentary Labour Party, which will be bound to use its Senate majority to insert amendments in the Bill. It is believed that the first use of the Senate majority this session will be to delay consideration of the Bill until late in the session.
