Only two hunt club meetings remain on the calendar for the present season so far as the South Island is concerned, the South Canterbury Hunt meeting tomorrow and the Christchurch Hunt Club’s meeting on the following Saturday. The fields for Washdyke tomorrow are numerically strong and should provide interesting racing. The doubles totalisator will be operated on the Claremont Handicap and the Levels Hack Handicap. Horses selected for their respective engagements are:— 11.00 : Hack and Hunters’ Hurdles. —Bon Chale, Sal’s Pal, Springwater. 11.45 : Glen-Iti Stakes.—Snowclad, Winslow Boy, Sharman. 12.30 : Hunt Cup Steeples. —Prang, Sparkling Lad, Quadrille. 1.15 : Claremont Handicap. —Saieda, Dark Chief, Clyde Bridge. 2.00 : Hack and Hunters’ Steeples. —Miro Chabo, Jolyon, Young Bob. -2.45 : Levels Hack Handicap.— Blue Sky, What Next, Happy Hunter. 3.30 : Washdyke Trot.— Currency, Major Gaillard, La Conga. 4.15 : Pentlow Hack Handicap —Cogitation, Chasemint, Love Letter.
